The IVS-362 is a medium-range VCO radar transceiver that supports FSK and FMCW modulation. The motion detector operates in the 24 GHz frequency range. The radar detects the presence and movement of objects within a detection range of up to 30 m (depending on the RCS of the object being detected). It measures the velocity, direction, and distance of both moving and stationary objects.
The IVS-362 features separate transmit and receive antennas as well as an integrated IF preamplifier to achieve maximum sensitivity.
InnoSenT developed the product for customers currently using the IPS-354 who want to easily upgrade their application. The products share the same dimensions and field of view, allowing for a simple replacement and enhanced functionality. The IVS-362 is used for industrial and building automation applications such as the automated control of doors or escalators. The additional information, such as speed, direction, and distance, improves automation performance.
Another related product is the IPS-355, a CW version of this device with a wider field of view.
